On behalf of the Indian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ISCC), it gives me great pleasure to invite Cosmetic Professionals across Asia and the world to attend the 16th ASCS Conference, being hosted by ISCC, India for the very first time. This is also the first in-person ASCS post-COVID and will be held from the 6th to 8th of March 2024 in the scenic and vibrant State of Goa in India

ASCS 2024 aims to marry our traditional Indian knowledge with modern Cosmetic Science. There will be two and a half days of presentations involving recent developments in Cosmetic Science & Technology and opportunities for networking with Cosmetic experts from across the globe. Concurrently, Poster Presentations for research publications will be held, and we will also be hosting an Exhibition, where companies can showcase their technologies and products. We aim to foster exchange of ideas between the Cosmetic Societies in Asia, and to promote the advancement of Cosmetic Science & Technology in the region.

We are extremely privileged to hold this Conference now, as ISCC is celebrating 20 years as a Society. It is our hope that this Conference will serve to encourage more young professionals to enter and network in this specialized field of technology at the venue.

The Asian Societies of Cosmetic Scientists (ASCS) is a non-profit organization established to promote the use of science in the Asian skincare industry. It was formed with an agreement between the Presidents of the Japanese, South Korean, Taiwanese, Indonesian and Filipino Societies in 1992. As a platform for cosmetic scientists, professionals, and researchers in the beauty industry, it fosters collaboration and cooperation on the development and use of technology and science. It also organizes several events to facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge among professionals from the cosmetics industry in Asia.

At present, Zone 2 Societies of the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) from 13 countries, play a pivotal role in hosting and organizing ASCS Conferences in the Spring of odd years, the purpose of which is to deepen mutual collaboration among member Societies through actively exchanging technologies and cultures.

Indian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ISCC) is a non-profit organisation established to promote and advance the use of science and technology in the field of cosmetics. It was started in 2002, in affiliation with the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) by a group of leading cosmetic chemists from top Indian companies and is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year

ISCC offers a platform for researchers and professionals to exchange ideas, findings, and best practices and discuss the latest trends and innovations in the industry. Conferences, training programs, poster competitions etc are regularly organised to collaborate with members and discuss the latest developments in the cosmetic industry.

The Society is annually invited by leading industry exhibitions e.g. HPCI and Cosmoprof to hold conferences deliver scientific talks at the event.
