Dear Cosmetic Science Professionals,
On behalf of the Indian Society of Cosmetic Chemists (ISCC), I am delighted to announce the ISCC Biennial Conference 2026, scheduled to take place from 19th to 21st February in the culturally rich and historic city of Jaipur.
This time, the conference will explore the theme: “Beauty & Wellness – Global Drivers, Local Considerations,” while the poster presentations will focus on: “The Cosmetics – Climate Nexus”
Building on the success of ASCS 2024 in Goa, which welcomed over 200 delegates from India and abroad, we are confident that ISCC 2026 Conference will raise the bar even higher, both in participation and presentations. The Technical Committee is curating a robust and insightful program that promises immense value to professionals across the cosmetic and personal care industry.
Our sessions will spotlight the latest technical innovations and market trends, both local and global. Eminent local and global experts will share their knowledge and expertise on the subjects during the Plenary Sessions, while Poster Sessions throughout the day will showcase cutting-edge research and developments.
We warmly invite you to participate, whether as a sponsor, speaker, poster presenter or delegate. I urge you to take advantage of this opportunity to learn, network and engage with experts in the field of Cosmetic Science and Technology.

Protocol for Paper Submissions
The IFSCC Magazine is dedicated to the publication of papers related to cosmetic science and related disciplines. It is published quarterly as an online version on the IFSCC homepage: www.ifscc.org.
Papers are selected on the merit of their scientific content, originality, innovation, relevance, and general interest to IFSCC members. The Magazine strives to uphold the scientific integrity of the Federation and relies on the expertise of the IFSCC Publication Committee and/or its designated experts to review all submitted papers.
Papers previously presented at IFSCC Congresses and Conferences as well as at other scientific symposiums and meetings that meet the above objectives for publication are routinely considered by the review committee as potential papers for publication in the IFSCC Magazine with the provision that they have not been previously published.
The Magazine however does not limit the publication of research only to those that were previously presented at IFSCC scientific meetings. The IFSCC encourages authors to submit to the Magazine all original manuscripts of cosmetic research not previously published or presented. In addition, the submission of papers from non-IFSCC members, independent researchers, and universities is also encouraged. The IFSCC, as a professional courtesy to those Member Societies having their own scientific journals, honors their option to publish a member’s paper in their own journal, providing the author and Member Society agree this to be a viable option.
Once a paper is submitted to the IFSCC for consideration as a publishable paper in the Magazine, it is received under the assumption that it has not been submitted for publication elsewhere. Likewise, it cannot be submitted to any another journal until after it is published in the IFSCC Magazine or released by the IFSCC back to the author upon mutual agreement, irrespective of language. All papers published in the IFSCC Magazine are copyrighted and any publication or reproduction in any other journal or magazine is prohibited without the expressed written consent of both the IFSCC and publisher.
Because research relating to animal physiology, as opposed to human physiology, is not the subject of the IFSCC Magazine, papers reporting such research will not be considered for publication in the Magazine. Papers submitted containing data obtained from animal testing will be returned to the author without review. In case of uncertainty, please contact the editors.
Any research involving human subjects, materials or data must conform to the ethical principles for medical research as stated in the Declaration of Helsinki, if this is applicable, or at least have been approved by the local ethics committee. In addition, all papers based on such research must include a statement to the effect that all subjects had given their informed consent to participate.
Manuscript Protocol
The following format will be used for all papers submitted to the IFSCC Magazine. Articles need to be double spaced for the benefit of the reviewers. Names and affiliations of all authors will need to be provided together with contact details (phone and e-mail address) of the corresponding author.
Do not create footers or headers or short running titles.
Title
The title should be concise and generally describe the content of the paper.
Include the full names of all authors listing the primary author first followed by the name of each author’s company and/or professional affiliation, address and, if applicable, the name of the meeting, date and site where the paper was originally presented.
In all cases, an e-mail address is to be submitted to facilitate communication regarding progress of the paper throughout the editorial process.
Abstract
The paper must be preceded by a clear abstract of no more than 200 words. The abstract should include in the following information:
• the research objective(s)
• the experimental approach used in the research and
• the main observations and major conclusions of the research.
Keywords
Specify five keywords that characterize your publication best.
Paper
The paper should begin with a brief introduction section which should include the basis for the research, background information on the subject, a proposal on why the research is being conducted, and anticipated results. The introduction is to be followed by an experimental section that is to include all details on the experimental materials, methods and instrumentation used throughout the research as well as an explanation of any statistical analysis techniques employed for the validation of data. A results and discussion section (either as separate sections or combined into one section) will follow which should include a discussion on the analysis and significance of the data presented. The paper should be summarized with a short and concise conclusion section. Professional acknowledgements of colleagues and other associates involved in the research are encouraged.
References
Only papers closely related to the article should be cited. All references should be cited numerically according to the order in which they appear in the text of the manuscript. It means that the references are indicated in the text by a number in square brackets, i.e. [1], [2], [3]… They must include in the following order:
• the surname and initials of all authors
• full title of the cited reference
• name of journal cited

If a material is not listed in any of the above sources of chemical references and a proprietary or trade name must be cited in the manuscript, then the name of the manufacturer, address and general chemical composition or structural composition must be described or provided as a footnote.
Official Language
All papers are to be written in U.S. English, which has been deemed the official language of the IFSCC Magazine. This should be consistent through-out the entire text of the paper and in all graphs, figures and tables. The only exception to this would be in the use of references where the original wording is used, regardless of language, to facilitate searching for a particular paper.
